My prediction is that some Red states will cancel their elections. Republicans will cry that the election is not valid. Goes to SCOTUS. SCOTUS rubber stamps the argument.

It’s the prefect Trumpie plan. Someone does the dirty work, people are going to protest and that means open season, and they whole coup will be legal. We all know that Trump wouldn’t be impeached and convicted.
