Putting them in prison just feeds the prison industrial complex and the wealthy individuals who lobbied for the very same laws that give them their ability to act with impunity under the guise of “probable cause”.
Perhaps a one-way trip to El Salvador would be a more appropriate form of justice, both for its poetic irony and the added benefit of depriving income from local, for-profit private prisons?
