Apple Releases iOS 26.2.1 With AirTag 2 Support

Apple today released iOS 26.2.1 and iPadOS 26.2.1, minor updates to the iOS 26 and iPadOS 26 operating systems. The new software comes a month after Apple released iOS 26.2 and iPadOS 26.2. The new software can be downloaded on eligible iPhones and iPads over-the-air by going to Settings > General > Software Update. iOS 26.2.1 adds support for the next-generation AirTag that Apple introduced today.

    But no more iOS 18 updates. I’d love to know the actual breakdown of iOS versions running on devices right now. I haven’t heard Apple crowing about it this year, which makes me suspect the 26 upgrade number is still lagging behind.
