Some days eugenics seems sensible. Your coworker and his wife should not be allowed to raise children.

Funny thing about karma, they have been trying for 20+ years and they are unable to have kids. They have spend thousands of dollars on all medical procedures to get pregnant and none have worked.

Some times, on a small scale, karma really does seem to exist. I’m watching it happen in real life with two of the worst people I know. My incredibly abusive ex, who can no longer afford to pay her rent because she’s too lazy to go back to work and instead has been on sick leave for a bone fracture in her hand for 4 months because her doctor is willing to extend sick leaves indefinitely (government in my country will pay for sick leave up to 6 months per year), and her abusive new boyfriend, who can’t hold down a job and doesn’t pay his debts so now it’s entirely likely that his car, literally the only thing either of them owns that’s worth anything (and the reason she got together with him in the first place - she only looks at guys cars), will be taken away by the bailiff to help cover said debts.

Both people who have so far survived off lying, stealing and abusing. Now together, and neither can get the other to support them. Neither has anywhere else to go either, it seems. Poetic justice.
