I don’t think it has anything to do with thinking it will end soon. He has zero ability restrain himself. Take the Jerome Powell thing; in May his term ends no matter what and Trump can appoint whoever he likes, legally. And yet, he is going out of his way to frame him for fraud so that he can remove him NOW. The simple function of him being told no obsesses to the point of mania. He fails the ‘marshmallow test’ in spectacular fashion, and this is just another example of it.
He’s been sending out these emails since he left office the first time. He’s just never stopped, so unfortunately this is not anything new or a sign they think their time may be ending.
It’s disgusting but also a sure sign that Trump and the MAGA leadership know their time may be ending.
