These votes demonstrate that the Democratic Party functions not as an opposition but as an enabler of the Trump administration. Its priority is to ensure the uninterrupted funding of the US military while diverting popular opposition with calls for meaningless cosmetic changes to the administration’s efforts to establish a presidential dictatorship.
I can’t tell if this is sarcasm. They are the same party.
To choose one of countless examples: 214 DNC and 4 GOP voted aye on the discharge petition to force the vote on releasing the Epstein Files.
And… they don’t actually release but 1% of them. So, what did the DNC do again?
I dunno about you, but “redacted” is not “released” unless they are hiding something.
And “redacted” == failure.
“They” don’t do anything because “they” don’t have them. GOP Donald Trump and the Department of Justice went into Contempt of Court because he didn’t release them. He also cannot be removed or held accountable without 20 GOP senator votes in addition to the DNC + IND.
To me the solution seems pretty fucking clear. Remove 20 GOP.
