Hundreds of demonstrators have gathered in Milan in recent days to protest against the deployment of US Immigration and Customs Enforcement staff at the Games.

What happened to freedom of expression?? I’m sorry, but I hope the crowds let their feelings be known, good, bad or indifferent.

    As an American: No no - you should jeer the fuck out of us. We 100% deserve it. Large parts of our population evidently don’t understand or care about soft power (amongst many other important things), so we’ve nuked most of ours. Show my countrymen what the ramifications of that choice are.
