Judge Talwani said the DHS’ claim that noncitizens lack Fourth Amendment protection against unreasonable searches and seizures is ripe for abuse.

Under a sane administration, paying taxes is a way to help you stay in the country.

Back when INS was in charge, you could submit tax records as a way to help convert to legal status.

INS could not access those records without you first submitting them.

Drug dealers could also pay taxes, and have their money be somewhat “clean”. I mean, you’d still go to prison for the drugs themselves, but not for any tax crimes like Capone.

Not just could pay taxes, you’re required to have a tax stamp for your drugs. I always thought it was funny.
