I didn’t know Israel identified as Christian
This sounds like we’re gearing up to invade more countries for their resources.
LOL, remember how every far-right jackass would point out this supposed viewpoint of radical right wing Muslims engaging in jihad?
I also remember how so very butthurt the rightwing xtians would be when I’d reference the xtian taliban or talibangelicals or xtian sharia law (and they’d try to get me banhammered from whatever platform I was on and my comments deleted) because that is such an unfair comparison.
If you want to see a rightwing NatC type go apoplectic, bring up how violent “the” bible is when they start up with the Koran. Or how right wing xtians and right wing Muslims don’t really differ on much at all but rather marginal details of doctrine.
Lead by example, bitch ass dipshit.
He, ISIS and Al Qaeda could get along nicely.
Well worth listening to behind the bastards on this guy.
He has no clue about history, makes up religious bullshit, and if he could rob every soldier in that room he would do it in a heartbeat.
Wasn’t “Dying for us means getting into heaven” literally what Al-Qaeda told suicide bombers?
You’ve heard of Al-Qaeda, but have you seen Yall-Qaeda?
There ain’t much difference between the two.
I don’t think ICE bastards have the guts to sacrifice themselves for a cause.
Hegseth is a parishioner of Douglas Wilson’s church. Douglas Wilson is a self described Christian nationalist. He recently went on Sam Harris’s podcast (episode 443) and talked about all of his beliefs and goals, and hoo boy, what a ride. It was a really good, honest dive into the mind of a devout Christian nationalist. Even having grown up in the church, I learned several things from Douglas during the podcast. Well worth the listen for people interested in learning the true viewpoint of Christian nationalists. At the end, Douglas thanks Sam and says it was the best interview he’s done in years.
So, he failed miserably while he was in service, right?
Jesus fuck!
WTF is a National Prayer Breakfast? Why aren’t people appalled that such a thing even exists?
It used to be about certain Christian pastors wishing to curry favor with politicians by having a simple prayer before breakfast which permits dialogue between them.
Eventually the event became big as a gathering for most powerful conservatives wanting to horse-trade and for influence peddling.
curry flavor for breakfast?
Kedgeree, my friend.
Many are. It’s been going on since the 1950s. And it’s a private event that politicians choose to participate in - so it isn’t like it’s state sponsored, technically - even though it politicians attend in their official capacity. It isn’t something that can just be easily shut down on constitutional grounds and is a complex issue. I think lawyers would have to prove that government resources are being used and that it creates an unconstitutional breach of the 1st amendment
Fucking dickhead.
And like Christ, in earthly ways our brave warriors are not called to appease the world, they must confront it.
“Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.” John 18:36
Everything that comes out of these people’s mouths is white nationalist revisionist bullshit because they all gave up any cause for Actual Bible Jesus a long time ago, which is its own brand of bullshit, so whatever I guess. I’m just sick of people in positions of power feeling comfortable shoving their fairy stories down everybody’s throats.
Jesus said a lot of things, you know who else says a lot of things? Me and I say fuck biblical debates
how that work when they are both xstian nations?
I sure wish Pete would save himself.
Zoom!
