Federal immigration officers are asserting sweeping power to forcibly enter people’s homes without a judge’s warrant, according to an internal Immigration and Customs Enforcement memo obtained by The Associated Press, marking a sharp reversal of longstanding guidance meant to respect constitutional limits on government searches.
The memo authorizes ICE officers to use force to enter a residence based solely on a more narrow administrative warrant to arrest someone with a final order of removal, a move that advocates say collides with Fourth Amendment protections and upends years of advice given to immigrant communities.
If ICE agents were smart they would refuse to do this. Sooner or later someone is going to defend their home against these goons, using lethal force. The government is deliberately putting these morons in harm’s way so they can use the death of an agent as political currency; people like Miller care so little about ICE agents that they wish to see them dead.
MAGAmind have their hands clasped in excitement. They want the violence in the streets. We can’t win direct conflict with their goons. We must not give them what they want. We must circumvent their foot soldiers, and seek direct action against their masters. Make it clear to everyone: go after the money
That’s all the excuse they need to ratchet this up another notch.
You could look at Renee Good and see that they need no pretext at all to shoot and kill without repercussions. “Don’t feed the troll” isn’t a great strategy when it’s already gnawing on your leg.
I realized a bit after posting that they’ll do what they want anyway without repercussions, so yea, you’re right.
They’re looking to instigate violence to justify martial law. Your 2nd Amendment solution only gives them more opportunity to oppress and kill civilians. If you fight the federal government you will lose. Discredit them, don’t unalive them.
