          If people in government were more tech literate and willing to stand by their morals by whistleblowing, they would create a torrent of the encrypted evidence and set up a dead man’s switch.

      Unless the law is far too different in that shithole of a country compared to a third world country like mine, it’s better to get fired than to quit. If you get fired, in particular if you get fired for something like “protecting human rights”, as that pretty much assures you the opening for a later lawsuit.
