White Chocolate and Milk Chocolate contain a ton of sugar.
Dark Chocolate is made up primarly of cocoa. It’s much healthier.
As a general rule, the darker the better.
Don’t be fooled. REAL dark is made at least by 80% of cocoa. If it contains less than 80%, then it’s not actually dark chocolate.
If you are used to eating a lot of sugar in your diet, you might be horrified and shocked by the taste of dark chocolate. Don’t go to extremes like 99% immediatly. You need to get used to the bitter taste.

60% is peak tho
75%-80%. 60 is weak.
95% is dragon level
I eat 100% these days and it’s so good. The smell alone is amazing. When there’s nothing masking the taste of the cocoa, you can really appreciate the differences between different types too. Also, I tried some 99% recently and it’s shocking what a difference 1% can make, it’s completely different experience.
I’m more of a Kobold than a dragon.
I’m who they make the 98% for. I honestly like the taste of almost fully bitter chocolate. I generally pair it with a drink because of how dry it is, but I enjoy the crumble of it and the taste is I guess something most people don’t like. I rather enjoy it.
I bought someone I fancied 99% chocolate as a joke. After a year or so, we got together. I opened the cupboard one day and saw it there, unopened. It came upon me to eat it :)
I love dark chocolate and until that point I thought the darker the better. Since then, I realised that I top out around 85%.
