Moreover, the president is getting the treatment of a king. They are ostensibly fungible assets. There’s a succession plan. The more they’re protected, the more they’re a target (and invading foreign countries doesn’t help).
and looking at their license plates, around half of them have US ones, which means those cars were probably flown in.
or do they have a standing motorcade for Europe? I saw one car had german plates…

I agree, which is why I said using the motorcade in Milan is absurd. 🙂
