I dont have O blood type but mosquitoes do love me.
I once was in the swimming pool floating on my back with just my nose out of the water.
I saw a mosquito land right on my nose and start to sting me.
So even when only the tip of my nose is vulnerable to mosquitoes, they are there to sting me within a minute.
People in my family appreciate to have me in forest walks because I act as a permanent decoy for them.

I’ve watched them sting through my clothes and one time even a jacket

If you don’t have diabetes, you’re about to. Also, you should check your pancreas just in case.
As I understand it, mosquitoes love those with sugary issues and can be used as “sniffers” for those predisposed to diabetes.
As for the pancreas, it’s always a good idea to keep current with its situation as it likes to suffer in silence and only airs its troubles once it’s too late.
Sweat production and composition are another one. My hands and feet are a buffet to them

Motherfuckers, that’s why I hated going outside i would get swarmed by those bastards immediately.
I dunno, I can sit by my husband and not get bitten, they don’t like me much so unless there is no other choice they leave me alone. I think they like people who are warmer and emit more carbon. It doesn’t seem like blood type is a strong factor.
My fam and I are all O. Like you, they don’t like me. They’ll go for anyone else. I also find that they will land on me and not try to bite - or if they do, they don’t put in a lot of effort and don’t pierce the skin. Even if they do bite, my skin doesn’t appear to react and they seem to quit quickly.
Meanwhile, my poor spouse and kid are delicious. And they have soft, sensitive skin. It’s ok, I always remember the repellent just for them.
I typically run pretty hot, and am typically not mosquitos favorite target. Though if mu oura ring is to be believed, I have a low resting heart rate, which may indicate lower carbon emmissions. So maybe thats it
Studies have consistently shown for the past couple decades that mosquitos are attracted to O blood. There are other factors, too. They like people who eat a lot of bananas, so maybe they like potassium? Carbon dioxide is also a target.

Everybody loves getting 0-, sadly people that can give 0- can only receive 0- as well. I’m a universal donor and try to give blood regularly.
Well, 8 if you include + or - types. And there are many more than that, but for most purposes the 8 are differentiated enough
If only were that simple. My wife and I are both type A pos. If we’re both outside, they will swarm her, and leave me alone. If I’m outside alone, they can be bothersome enough to go back inside.

Am type O and mosquitoes always leave me alone if there’s others around.
In lab experiments, mosquitoes seem to prefer feeding on people with type O blood, although other genetic factors also play a part.
That makes sense since it’s basically fake research that doesn’t prove anything about the matter
They bite me like 10 times around my knees and 2 times on my fingers the other day (wednesday last week). I was carrying long pants. I still don’t know how they did that. It still itches.
I’m type O. My mother, who was next to me, is type A. She wasn’t bitten even once.
