I’d swap the chromebook and mac at the end there. The ewaste that is a chromebook is at best a glorified netbook, the macs at least has some hardware capabilities that can be leveraged.
To be fair, part of this is my own experience. I’ve owned a Chromebook (still have it… Somewhere?), and know how it works. I’ve never once touched a Mac xD
