Yea, I suppose it is about principles. If this is about not setting someone walk over you, I’d rather just avoid being in a position to have my pastry stolen I guess?

Idk I guess I just don’t think making a big deal over a pastry or a small amount of food is the same as letting someone walk over me, especially if its easy to get another one.

Of they’re stealing it because they’re hungry, they probably need It more than I do, and if they’re stealing it for attention or to be an ass, then I’d rather ignore them, and they’re probably looking to start a confrontation and I don’t want to give them the satisfaction.

Yeah but it’s the principle. I have no issue giving such people food. If the person comes and asks me I would gladly part with my food. But if they steal it you better believe I will at least say something mean back.

Yea sure, there’s a good chance I would say something mean as well, out of impulse if nothing else, or perhaps I would just stare at the empty hand that was holding a pastry a moment ago and be very confused, I guess I won’t know for sure until it happens to me lol.
