The California city of San Clemente will officially allow Customs and Border Patrol to begin a controversial new surveillance project within its city limits. The plan, which involves installing cameras on a hill to overlook the Orange County city and its famous coastline, is moving ahead despite a torrent of pushback from locals, including many who attended a fiery, hours-long San Clemente City Council meeting on Jan. 20.
Orange is something else. Had a buddy who used to work for a catering/event company in the area. He basically confirmed Party Down and Arrested Development are documentaries.
Yeah it’s probably the only region of California that I unequivocally hate outside of the Central Valley, which is telling you something because the reason I hate the Central Valley is entirely because it’s a shit drive when I go up to Washington.
Many many more reasons to dislike the central valley. Politically it is a lower class orange county
It’s californiabama. And yeah, it’s a heinous place. There’s a reason everyone drives 100mph (not really much of an exaggeration) on I-5 to get through that shit as quick as possible.
Central Valley is engrossed in the same propaganda and social manipulation that damned near every other rule region is afflicted with, Orange county just sucks ass and has since at least the 1910s if my great great grandfathers writings are to be believed.
