How does anyone rack up 38 tickets. I got a parking ticket on a visit, and when I came back a year later, my car got booted, and then towed. It was a major pain int the ass to go to the courthouse, only to be told I needed the registration, so I had to go to the tow yard, and get the registration from the glove compartment, then go back to the courthouse to pay all the fines and towing and storage costs. Seriously, I have way more sympathy for people who get tickets in places like NYC. More crowded, more chaotic, more rules.
By ticket 38, though, I’m at least 20 tickets past the point where I’ve given up and started just taking a mix of cycling and public transit.
