Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) posted a tweet with a grim message Friday, noting that he was "not suicidal" in response to a commenter worried he could potentially face threats or other repercussions for his work on the disclosure of the Epstein Files.
I do not agree with Massie on most issues, and a NUMBER of the psychos who went full-time on Trump, but this dude is doing his fucking job and calling shit out.
He needs to be protected, and OUR rights to do what he’s doing in the face of threats should also be protected.
I will also say that Massie has crossed the aisle on more things than just Epstein, and SHOCKINGLY Rand Paul. If they’ve developed a consistent consciousness to protect the survivors, then they should be supported and protected as far as that goes.
I will say that Massie and Khanna just outed BILLIONAIRE proponents in the Epstein files who certainly have the means to have these people killed quietly and disappeared.
Massie was and is extremely wrong about many issues IMO, but I’ll be damned if his backbone on this hasn’t given me some satisfaction. We don’t have to agree with every politician on everything. We don’t even have to agree with our chosen aligned parties on everything.
We do have to support politicians that are protecting the interests of Americans.
I don’t agree with him either, but he is principaled which is the very least we can ask of any politician, especially a republican.
