    I see through you.

OP's image but lines added in order to clarify the anatomy of the cat. They don't clarify much.

Uppermost leg and far right leg are the back legs, with the tail inbetween. Imagine the back half of the cat is on its back, stomach up.

The rest of the cat is rotated towards the camera. One arm slung over the belly, other arm splayed out in front. If the arm over its belly was instead next to the uppermost leg, cat would just be fully in its back!

I know, I’m confused about the spine because there should be a turn somewhere but there… isn’t? And the lines indicating left and right of spine should end up the other way around but they don’t and I think it’s my own drawing who works for confuse-a-hooman.

Doesn’t need a turn! Cats spines are like a rope! Wiggly furry snake!

I remember watching a video that showed that this is how cats are always able to land on their feet. As in, their bodies evolved to be able to twist awkwardly (to us) like this. By counter-rotating the front from the back in the air, they can face backwards without breaking the conservation of momentum, rotationally.
