      Idk where it was born, but the raised fist is the international symbol of solidarity, still is. The soviets did not invent, or own it, even as they adopted it.

    Greg Bovino liked a related joke, they had pictures of him and his ice underlings, one raises the fist of solidarity, not unique to the soviets I would add it’s the international symbol of solidarity, and the labor movement, that the soviets adopted but didn’t own, and they other guy would cover it up with the outstretched hand. It’s like a nazi joke, the seig heil beat the solidarity.

    Get it? Ha ha. Assholes. I hope Bovino receives what he tried to give.

    As a side Churchill’s v for victory sign is extremely close to the traditional British version of 🖕 in that you do the two fingers with the back of your hand towards the person your doing it to rather than the front.
