Why? There’s radicalization about mass/traditional media all over. Even here. But, it’s especially virulent by those in fascist cults vulnerable to any truth. Targeting the family members of a known media personality, especially if you’re in the area or have easy enough access. It’s just low hanging fruit.

It may turn out it was completely random. It may just be an acquaintance or even a family member. It could be politically motivated. Right now I’m not sure who knows. It sucks that all abductions don’t get this sort of coverage. There’s been thousands abducted of the streets by roving fascist paramilitary gangs that are getting near zero coverage. But at the end of the day I would wish that she and all of them would be returned home safe soon. But we’re gonna have to do way more than wish for most of them sadly.
