I dont know how you could think that given the absolute lack of anything similar from any of the other branches.
People were starting to cling on to the “the military is going to stop the Trump coup” copium all the way back at the beginning of his first term. It has yet to happen, and both he and his cronies are all the more entrenched.
I don’t think the military will stop the Trump Regime, at least not without several years of a 2nd American Civil War.
As with ACW1, what we could see is lots of military people moving around to find like-minded people. So we will have something like 40% of a given military branch working for the good guys, another 35% for the Regime, and the rest being neutral, or doing their own thing.
