Politics is always a compromise, also for a voter. People forget that; they start thinking black&white, in good and evil, and then start to make mistakes - and the more extreme politicians win. The second aspect: instead of complaining about politicians, become politically active, join the party that you like most, and focus again on compromising, within your party and with the other side.
