Their only exports are corruption, destabilization, and dashcam footage of their own tanks exploding. Even if they weren’t an incompetent mess—which they are—they’d still be a negative force that adds zero value to the modern world. They aren’t a ‘Great Power’; they’re a gas station with a failing army and an identity crisis.
What “positive force” have the US been contributing to the rest of the world lately? At this point the two countries are exporting a lot of the same destabilization and corruption.
For that matter most of your post could be used to describe the US, with the added possibility of a civil war in the near future.

Whether the US has problems doesn’t change the fact that Russia is a hollowed-out gas station with a museum-grade military. The ‘World’s Second Army’ is currently begging North Korea for ammo and losing its Black Sea Fleet to a nation without a navy. That’s the reality of Russia: an incompetent, corrupt mess that provides zero value to the world.
