I have an old laptop which I use to install various distros and play around with them. One time I tried to install arch. Like the very first step was to manually configure the network interface using some cli in some weird unknown shell environment provided by the installer.
That sat there at that step untouched for a day or two, then I installed some other distro.
I use mint because I’m too old and impatient for the more setup-heavy stuff.
