Not true. Plenty of young people enlist for many reasons… Some enlist for patriotism, some for the benefits, some for lack of options/poor employment options. People who don’t enlist usually have better options… or a least more choices. Military enlistment is usually a pragmatic or desperate decision. People who choose not to are not anti-semitic which is a strange accusation. We are citizens of the US, not Israel… they have their own draft. I do not know why that would even be a consideration for a 17-19 year old in the US. They are not exactly readers or followers of current events-- I mean, if they were intellectuals, they would be attending a college. Most of the enlistees come from economically depressed regions that don’t offer them a bright future.
