I am not sure what that had to do with anything. It is not Microsoft, but if Palantir released a Linux distro, it would sure as shit have mass surveillance in it, regardless of the kernel.

macOS runs on a bastardized version of Mach kernel known as XNU.
it’s hard to hide that kind of thing in open source software, and grapheneos is open source. I’m not sure this is a valid argument here
