President Donald Trump is threatening to cut off trade with Spain. He's citing a lack of support over the U.S. and Israeli attacks on Iran and the European nation’s resistance to increase its NATO spending.
Can someone explain to me how he would to that though? Even if we ignore the “Spain is part of the EU” argument, how does one offended man child cut off trade with a country? Are they a communist planned wconomy now? I mean surely the actual companies that do the trade would have something to say to that? My first thought here was yeah okay he’s introducing a 1000% tariff, except we know now he doesn’t have them powers to do that. So how?
