Two people were killed when a passenger jet struck a Port Authority vehicle late last night, according to two sources familiar with the investigation. They are the pilot and co-pilot, the sources say.
The TRUs are right in the front so most of the electronics probably went off instantly. If I remember correctly the FADEC (engine control) boxes were in the aft equipment bay, so they may have stayed on for a minute, but I have to imagine with that much of the equipment destroyed they probably shut down.
