    warning: description of her death

Santos-Aviles, 35, died after setting herself on fire in the backyard of her home in Uvalde, Texas. The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office later ruled her death a suicide.

Holy fuck what an awful way to die. Really curious how they determine that to be suicide.

Tony bribed a Uvalde cop. After he murdered her, probably with poison, then burned the body.

To put this in perspective folks there have only been ~54 documented self immolations globally in the past 15 years and they’re almost entirely statements and protests. Alone in a back yard? Bullshit.

Yeah, like the US soldier who self-immolated as a protest against Israel’s genocide in Gaza. Your explanation makes way more sense.

I hope that’s just a misstatement from the medical examiner. They should be determining how the victim died and not the motivation for it. How would anyone know who dropped the match after looking at the remains?

Any chance we’re past the filing deadline? Would be sweet irony for that seat to just be lost given their redistricting shenanigans.

I believe this seat is actively contested by that gun nut YouTuber Brandon Herrera.

Lovely… I got invited to attend a show he was at not knowing anything about who he was or what it was about and within about 3 minutes learned that he’s a bigol’e piece of shit and everyone in that crowd would probably have beat my ass if that had known my real views. I made a hasty exit and had to take a shower. Real gross.

He should be charged for good part in her suicide.

If it WAS a suicide. @redsand@infosec.pub’s theory sounds much more plausible.

I should have put suicide in quotes.

“Her last words were, ‘I don’t want to die,’” a family member told KSAT.
