More than 3,000 marches and rallies took place yesterday in cities and towns across America during the third “No Kings” event, where millions protested against the policies and actions of President Trump and his administration.

    i am interested in their general strike, though i do think that spacing it out so far from a protest is hurting the effort, for a dramatic “may day” but a general strike is more in line with what i was thinking would be necessary.

      I think it’s a delicate balance they need to walk. They need to maintain widespread appeal to keep engagement up without exhausting everybody participating.

      Every small victory builds momentum, but it has to be sustained. Trying to go all out all at once is a recipe for failure.
