The actual 3D model is not shown in the above article.

It can be found here: https://www.theguardian.com/society/2026/mar/29/full-network-clitoral-nerves-mapped-out-first-time-women-pelvic-surgery

Be prepared to be unimpressed, lol. I was hoping to unlock secret mysteries of the likes not seen since Kama Sutra was published.

I was not prepared to see an upside-down stoner ashtray.

I hate that “no health benefits” is added just to compare with the supposed “health benefits” of circumcision, even though I would never like to get rid of my foreskin.

Edit: I’m moderately sure a guy with no foreskin has less pleasure when masturbating than me.

Those ovaries are not in the anatomical correct place.

X-rays were discovered in 1895, it’s taken them this long to find it…

This was a CT scan, or even a specialised kind of CT scan. X-rays are involved, but an emusltion plate in 1905 isn’t going to get you a “3D mapping”.

Although, yes, it’s a neglected area of the body in medicine.

It’s cause the clitoris isn’t attached to a man.

A lot of the recent data about the nerves of the clitoris are from donated tissue from trans men who got theirs removed during bottom surgery, so your statement here isn’t exactly true. A lot of the issue is the sheer density of nerves in a very small area that makes it hard to study from cadavers, and there aren’t large numbers of people getting them removed to study them that way either.

What’s true is that women’s health and anatomy takes a back seat to how to keep men’s dicks hard. I say this as a cis het man. It’s shameful.

A lot of the recent data about the nerves of the clitoris are from donated tissue from trans men who got theirs removed during bottom surgery

So a lot of the data is from clits that were removed from men? I jest. That’s actually pretty interesting, and while I take your point about nerve density and complexity, my point at the top stands.

Why do you jest? This is just a factual statement
