The story literally calls what they are doing in the attached podcast “divining”. I don’t need anyone to read bones on this one.
Not quite nothing: some Trump lackey is briefing journalists against Miller. It might be due to rivalry, or to gauge public reaction to something Trump’s thinking out loud about doing. Beyond that, it’s like Kremlinology, except Trump’s a worse cabbage than even Chernenko.

I read the linked transcript. It’s mostly hypothesis about the increasing number of leaks and rumors that Trump is unhappy with the effect of mass deportation on his popularity, which is Miller’s big thing. I can believe that, but it’s a long way from anything actively throwing him under the bus. It wouldn’t be surprising if he did soon though.
