Murdoch stooges have been appointed to chair the ABC recently and funding cuts have been ripping it to shreds over the years. It’s an abomination that 4 corners - a program that must have caused more Royal Commissions than anything else - doesn’t even have funds to run a full season throughout the year.
It’s not just Murdoch however, the politicalisation of the channel is apparent. It follows the same neoliberal western propaganda playbook as the government wants.
Labor could have made changes, they haven’t. I’ve submitted multiple complaints in the past year and they blow them off. They don’t care, they have a national agenda to push.
Damn without the ABC how would we got told Israel is defending itself from the violent Gazans and have washed up comedians on game shows.
