Typo - it’s meant to say “the least safe country to be online”.
The headline is editorializing. So is the first paragraph of the article. Reporting that the purpose of a law is what its proponents claim is reporting a supposition as a fact.
Actual result: tech companies will start geo-fencing access.
No they won’t. What is the UK gonna do? Sue? If they don’t want their people going to my website, THEY can block my website. I’ll take whatever traffic I can get.
Edit: in the case the website is owned and operated outside the UK, which is pretty likely.
Would that help drive people to federarion?
