in charlie and the chocolate factory (2005) (the best version imo b/c i saw it as a kid and the magic only works around then) a lady said that chocolate is an aphrodisiac and i’ve completely internalized that as true.

Chocolate is not an aphrodisiac (aphrodisiac= something that makes you horny), but chocolate can satisfy sexual frustration like when a woman is lonely so she eats chocolate and it calms her angst and she feels satisfied even though she’s still alone/lonely, chocolate has a chemical medicinal effect of calming & satisfying.
