Seriously though, I hate that cryptocurrencies coopted the term crypto.
“Crypto” meant “encryption, cryptography, etc.” back when there were people who called themselves cypherpunks.
You may check out Particl.io. Its by farthe only real cypherpunk led blockchain project I know.
Crypto I think could also used to be slang for crypto-fascist which is a person hiding their status as a fascist.
Would be nice for it to stop being used about crypto currency.
