It tells Lemmy what language you’re post is in. If users have that language disabled in their settings, they won’t see it
But language seems to get autoassigned in a lot of places, which is what I think the root cause of this bug is. If you need to set a language for a post, just do it after it’s already submitted
I’m confused, do you mean I need to select a language or I need to not have a language? 10% of my posts just spin and never post. It’s incredibly frustrating, especially if you just did a big write up with formatting and multiple links.
Not selecting a language option solved this problem for me

On the post submission page, there’s a language selection often. I just leave it as it is now and I’ve never had this issue since
