Biden is now regularly confronted by demonstrators waving Palestinian flags and chanting slogans against "Genocide Joe," his speeches constantly interrupted.
Trump is worse but you’re just proving that ‘The Democrats are blackmailing us. It’s like if you don’t vote for Biden, Trump will come.’ from the article.
Typically people list reasons why I should vote for X candidate and not why Y candidate is bad.
The US has vetoed both ceasefires. They still haven’t blocked aid in the form of munitions to Israel. They haven’t stopped the Rafah offensive. They pulled funding from UNRWA to shield Israel from the ICJ ruling. I am completely unsure how Trump could be worse on the matter of this genocide. Biden has done everything possible wrong in this situation. That is why I will be abstaining from voting.
This is not a matter of me not voting for the lesser evil. This is me letting the DNC know that I will not be held hostage for a candidate that is marginally better.
I’m not going to hold it against people for voting for damage reduction. Its an understandable position. But I think not voting for a conservative genocide financier is understandable too. If they want my vote they can offer a better candidate next cycle.
If you don’t vote, you forfeit the right to bitch and moan. Not like that would stop you, of course, but it is the height of entitlement to abstain from the democratic process while expecting any kind of personally desired outcome.

The US has vetoed any meaningful policy against Israel as long as I’ve been alive. Biden isn’t going to change that.
If Israel is your one issue, you need to find a different differentiator. Which at this point is “Oh, literally everything else.”

Edit:
I want to point out that ‘Biden isn’t going to change that’ sort of implies he is simply going with the tide. He isn’t. He explicitly bypassed congress by using an executive order on multiple occasions to sell arms to Israel.
When Trump is on the ballot, it’s no time for a protest vote.
By not voting Biden, you enable Trump to:

Your position is fair, but my protest vote is also a fair position. We can agree to disagree.

I’ve never understood people who are this hostile towards someone who refuses to vote. This makes me want to vote even less.

There is a level of anger here I’d prefer not to approach. Thanks for your enriching comment and I hope you have a splendid day.
