Sounds like maybe you should try another milk. I’d suggest rice milk. I prefer plant milks because cow milk just tastes off and I bounce between rice and oat because sometimes one or the other isn’t in stock and I like them both.

Is rice milk generally ecologically friendlier than almond? It’s crazy to me how many gallons of water are required to produce a single almond. I like almond milk, but its slightly better taste ain’t worth that.

Almond milk is the worst ecologically friendly alternative to milk TBH. Rice and oat are tons better in that respect. There isn’t any ethical consumption under capitalism, but, in short, if it isn’t almond (still better ecologically than milk) then it’s definitely leagues better than milk.

I forgot where I saw a graphic of it, but I’ll find it and post it

I found the graphic, what I said before this was about the water usage, and I was, overall, wrong, but cow milk is definitely worse than any alternative in this list:

(I just woke up, so if this doesn’t have alt-text, then I forgot to add it afterwards)

Well, that is unfortunate news for me. Never mind milk, meat consumption is ridiculous, and government subsidized to boot… Not that that’s done much good for the price of the average McDonald’s burger.
