And yet when Netflix was good the amount of people who pirated went down a ton. I was on that train. Just give me a service that isn’t outrageously expensive, has most of the content i want, and is more convenient than pirating and I’ll do it, as long as i have an income.

Not everything needs to have deep/real-world meaning. As i recall, Tolkien really didn’t like people ascribing such things to his writing. They’re just stories and should be treated as such.

Gandalf wouldn’t even still be there, since he was only there to aid in the fight against Sauron. He’d have gone off to Valinor shortly after Sauron’s defeat, together with the rest of the elves. And there’d be no Aragorn to be a good pal and extend the good lifespans of the realms of Men, so Gondor would never get a new king and the realms of Men would likely fall to evil a bit into the third age.

i doubt they’d have time to drown tbh, at depth a small leak is likely to cause immediate and sudden implosion, instantly crushing anyone inside. not sure how that would play out in a larger non-circular space though like rapture.

I mean, he is in control of the soon to be president of the US. Much as I hate it, other countries kinda do have to listen to him now.
