Ads are out of control, they fill my day.
My home, my rules. Ads are not allowed on the devices i BOUGHT.
99% of the targeted ads i get tend to be targeted at someone who has a family and makes 3 times my wage, so you’re wasting business resources for your own gain and wasting my time by serving them to me.
So fuck off outta my house.
I never saw this ad and i tell you it took me until my fourth game before i found out about it…i was mind blown
People get so upset over video games like i’m just trying to escape from life’s pressures for a little bit…calm down please.

It’s been something i’ve thought about a lot, but at the moment it feels manageable to the point other things get priority.

Something has me convinced i’m depressed but the only time i ever had the posibility to look for help they sort of just worked me towards the door and cut me off asap.
But they ended up giving me some sort of anti psychotic medication, which definitely allowed me to get back on my feet at the time. (Shit was dark, i fell in a hole with covid, homelessness and unemployment alltogether with my wife and reached a point where i struggled so much i couldn’t even get my ass to a job interview).
But i still don’t know what the cause of my struggles is, only that they’ve been around as long as i can remember. Some form of psychotic whatever wouldn’t surprise me either looking at my mom and what she did. But from what i know (which isn’t a lot obviously) it seems more like depression.
I did say i was going balls to the wall, right?
I was actually studying during cardio but not coding, lol
I went to the gym for a couple years and managed to increase my PR’s consistently and doubled my bodyweight at the same bf %.
Then i decided i was disciplined enough for a homegym as the gym attracted a crowd of generic fools instead of the old club of bodybuilders and powerlifters…i wasn’t disciplined enough.
I really need that: “since i’m already here, might as well go balls to the wall”.
My old gym cost about €13, now generic shit gyms cost more than twice as much. I won’t be going back at those prices because food and rent also tripled, i don’t grow money from a tree or something.
It was reported a decent amoint of time ago and i thought i felt a difference…turned out my isp was sending air bubbles through the internet cable.
After the internet stabilized i noticed exactly zero, just an occasional “restart browser because video’s stopped playing alltogether”

I just ditched my 8gb card because it wasn’t doing the trick well enough at 1080p and especially not at 1440p.
So if i get this straight AMD agrees that they need to optimize games better.
I hate upscaling and frame gen with a passion, it never feels right and often looks messy too.
First descendant became a 480p mess when there were a bunch of enemies even tho i have a 24gb card and pretty decent pc to accompany that.
I’m now back to heavily modded Skyrim and damn do i love the lack of upscaling and frame gen. The Oblivion stutters were a nightmare and made me ditch the game within 10 hours.
I know, but i can’t.
I don’t even get to have a break at “battery low”. You just push through and try to regain some energy somehow.
I solved that by moving to pc and forgetting about Nintendo’s existence.
I found a way already, it’s called patience. Works well for basically any non nintendo game.
I bought one new as the planned 3090 and potential backup 3080 were far too expensive, worst card i owned.
The 8gb was enough for about 3 months, when i was still enamored with my backlog of older games.
I now switched teams and got a 24gb gpu. My first gpu was also team red and lasted 11 years until it was incapable of running the games i wanted to play. I hope my current gpu will also last longer.
First offense, sure.
But they’ll just keep being scum so it needs to come back to them.

I have a similar sentiment when it comes to ads, my device, i pay for the internet and the device is inside my home. I’ll decide if you get to show me ads.
