If I can’t share a Curly Wurly then it’s not a revolution.
I kinda had to accept that Lemmy wouldn’t have the same hooks to trigger impulsive scrolling because Lemmy isn’t a corporation desperate to mine you for every ounce of data you can provide.
Also took me a while to find a group of communities with content I like.
I sometimes reinstall Reddit just see what’s happening over there, whenever I open it, it feels like I’m being inundated with ads, both obviously and via the ingenuine comment threads.
Yeah I recently replayed IW. I actually enjoyed it. I felt I didn’t appreciate it for what it was in its own time.
They decided to wait and see if Trump won, and if Homan then accepted bribes. It would be a much more airtight case. So the Biden people handed the investigation off to the Trump people, no doubt holding out the vain hope that the career people would persuade the political people that someone taking a bag of cash was something that ought to be investigated.
The fucking ineptitude of the Liberal elites never ceases to amaze me.
I love that they had to publish an explainer article for everyone in Australia under the headline:
Trump is so rarely challenged, simple questions can seem hostile

I’m dumb as rocks and I’m not exactly a fan.
I use a dock with my steam deck. Highly recommended. I was shocked at how seamless it was as an experience.
I would argue that if you’re an Xbox gamer with no interest in PC and no interest in trying different eco-systems then yes the new ROG Xbox Ally will be your best bet. You might not get quite the same performance as the SteamOS models but you’ll have access to your GamePass, cross-buy library titles if you have any and a familiar interface.
Andor. But good eye for the franchise.
We all know which way this will go.
Kneecap. If you’re even partly plugged in you know about Kneecap.

I don’t know what you’re talking about. Nothing in this image screams dictatorship.
Freedom is a pure idea. It occurs spontaneously and without instruction. Random acts of insurrections are occurring constantly throughout the galaxy…the frontier of the rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward. The need for control is so desperate because it is so unnatural. Tyranny requires constant effort. It breaks, it leaks.

These fellas
On the flipside, when I was in Japan some old guy mocked me for taking a photo of a no littering sign.
I keep being enticed back to trying the game again with each new release but the gameplay just doesn’t grab me and there’s such a limited amount of story that it doesn’t get its hooks in me. I guess I’m just not a crafting/survival type.
I get what you’re saying…if that were my experience I’d be jack of it too. I’ve got similar spec and am running Nobara which is pretty much Steam OS for people with Nvidia cards. The only thing. The only thing I got really into the weeds on was setting up Plex. Which wasn’t my first preference but I couldn’t work out how to get Jellyfin to cast to my old Chromecast. Other than that though I’ve had a great experience that ‘just works’.
The good die young
The octogenarian who was found wandering around on the roof? That guy? The same guy who seems to have forgotten about the Epstein files?
