“Th-the rules were that you guys weren’t going to fact-check me, and since you’re fact-checking me, I think it’s important to say what’s actually going on,” Vance said.”
Unfortunately it’s true.

Depending what county you live in, etc. There are nurse hotlines that you can call. That said I’ve never used them.
Those glocks ain’t stock
If I can add to the discussion here. Problem is the the solution isn’t a solution. Heck the headline is a lie because the first sentence is “If the project raises 7.5 billion dollars”. The article makes people feel like the problem is solved already but it’s not. And to say that we cannot fix the origin of the problem is just not true. To think so is to actually miss the point of the project which is that monumental problems CAN be solved, but cleaning the patch isn’t done and it won’t be the end of the challenge.
Mirror images more resemble being flipped inside out. Sort of.
Imaging holding your hand out flat, parallel to the ground while facing a mirror. The tips of your fingers would be closest to the mirror.
Now imagine if you were wearing a glove on that hand and you took the glove off so it were inside out.
If you were to compare the inside out glove to the reflection of the hand the glove came from, they would look similar.
Mirrors just show us what they see.
When they announced when windows 10 support would end. The writing was on the wall and each update was a toss up whether it would add a useless feature.
I knew from experience many years ago that windows would delete grub if it so much as looked at it funny. So I got an amd card and cut windows out cold turkey.
Linux has a whole host of weird quirks and issues, just like windows. But it’s either something documented, fixable, or will be fixed in an update. I’m more excited to click update in Linux than I am with windows too.
Few pieces of software don’t work with either wine or a windows VM as backup. But so far I’m not missing much. Missing out on some games because of anti cheat sucks though. Even though I hate anti cheat, I still love a good game of league.
Unless I’m mistaken, the malware isn’t on the CPU. The exploit is CPU, but the firmware is stored on the bios chip. Used motherboards are a potential for having malware on them, but then again they always have been a risk
Your title either got cut off or you didn’t finish it. It ends with “it wor”
Back in the day I had a core 2 duo computer and upgrading to the core 2 quad made pcsx2 almost twice as fast. It was a really cool time for hardware. Very cool post.
I think I’m most interested in crisis core. I love ff7 and remember crisis core on the PSP. Good times. Good luck to everyone and thanks OP!
Or better taste in paper towel holders that don’t look like cocks.
I couldn’t have said it better myself.
They don’t deserve these kind of insults. They came here for help. They didn’t kick a child. Saying stuff like you’re saying is rougher, meaner, and more unhelpful than you might think it is.
Look, I don’t hate or dislike you. And I’m sorry if I came off as mean. Maybe you don’t need therapy, maybe you do. But I do stand by that you need to take a hard look at what you really want. Because on one hand you talk about how you can’t stand talking to people consistently for more than a few weeks. On the other you really want a relationship, or something similar.
Asexual is indeed a rare sexuality, but asexual and lacking the battery to deal with people more than a few weeks at a time is even rarer. You can’t have any sort of a family (that you mention on the post) with that sort of problem which is why I suggest therapy. Someone to get to know you and professionally align you to what you really want and need.
People do ghost others all the time. I’m not focusing on others though. I’m only mentioning it because it’s something you mentioned and not a good way to end a relationship. That’s not a healthy way to end the relationship and shows a lack of consistency in what you are trying to achieve.
Internet strangers can only provide so much insight here. I don’t wanna hurt you in any way, I do hope you find someone you don’t want to ghost at all. You’re ace, so I would try instead asking around for ace communities. They can at least get you on one track that you’re looking for.
No, you don’t need therapy to fix your orientation. You need therapy to get a better understanding of yourself. Your post and replies seem like you don’t actually want a relationship. And I don’t mean sex, I mean a human to human relationship. Like you even say you get tired of potential partners and ghost them and you say it like it’s nothing. That’s hella mean and spells out that you either don’t recognized how mean it is, or you do and you aren’t actually interested in people in general. If you just wanna talk to people for a little bit with such a short battery, then normal friendship would suffice.
No one’s asking you to fall in love. We’re saying you gotta reavaluate your wants.
If you really want a relationship, you need therapy to figure out some things. Lemmy is not the place. From where we are all sitting, it sounds like you do not want a relationship. Or a healthy one at that
There are a lot of youtubers who make videos that target people who are sleeping with YouTube on. These long videos get recommended to them because they’ll watch anything, ads and all, because they’re asleep. The Spiffing Brit did a video talking about it. I think this feature might remove that meta.
Animal Well is 30mb. That’s my start.
