Anna from No Such Thing as a Fish recommended an Australian podcast called Smart Enough to Know Better years ago and I’ve been thoroughly enjoying both since. And I would say if you get the opportunity to see No Such Thing as a Fish live go for it. They are excellent live.
Voting for a 3rd party is a vote for Trump. If you think Trump is less genocidal I have some magic beans to sell you.
Smart Enough to Know Better - Australian podcast where two guys discuss things that interest then in a humorous way. Could be the latest astrophysics news, could be the location of stomachs and diet of a centaur.
What do you mean be rise up? What is the actual action you are calling for?
So what is your alternative? Don’t choose the lesser evil and accept the greater evil? What rising up are you doing?
"The reason that the rich were so rich, Vimes reasoned, was because they managed to spend less money.
Take boots, for example. He earned thirty-eight dollars a month plus allowances. A really good pair of leather boots cost fifty dollars. But an affordable pair of boots, which were sort of OK for a season or two and then leaked like hell when the cardboard gave out, cost about ten dollars. Those were the kind of boots Vimes always bought, and wore until the soles were so thin that he could tell where he was in Ankh-Morpork on a foggy night by the feel of the cobbles.
But the thing was that good boots lasted for years and years. A man who could afford fifty dollars had a pair of boots that’d still be keeping his feet dry in ten years’ time, while the poor man who could only afford cheap boots would have spent a hundred dollars on boots in the same time and would still have wet feet."

It’s not really that contrary, most people don’t actually become more conservative as they age. It’s not quite a myth but very much over stated. Political orientations over the course of the life span are very stable. https://digitalcommons.unl.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=1113&context=poliscifacpub
What are you talking about with “indigenous to”. Israel is a colony. It was created through the removal of the indigenous people.
Hamas pretty much wouldn’t exist if Israel wasn’t funding them: https://www.businessinsider.com/israel-security-forces-escorted-suitcases-cash-hamas-qatar-report-2023-12?r=US&IR=T
And hamas certainly wouldn’t exist if the Palestinian people weren’t being murdered for their land for decades.
There isn’t an official pre build app. The one you get might be fine, but you can’t be sure…
As much as people are disenfranchised the two parties are not the same. One is conservative, and the other is trying to create a authoritarian theocracy.
All you do by voting for a 3rd party in a FPTP election is take a vote away from the major party you are most closely aligned to. You may as well just not vote
Israeli is not the same as Jewish, as much as the the Israelis want to push that narrative to claim anyone who criticises their genocide is an anti-semite.
Are you confusing animtisem with being against a horrific genocide that has being going on for decades? A lot of Americans don’t seem to be able to make the destination. Hamas is a shockingly disgusting terrorist group, that doesn’t mean Israel isn’t a shockingly disgusting terrorist state. Being anti Israel is not the same as being anti Jewish
NordVPN. I use it to access iPlayer and a couple of torrent sites my ISP blocks. It’s works fine. I chose Nord due to the brilliant adverts by the Internet Historian. The Internet Historian’s adverts are up there with John Green’s life assurance ads. Just brilliant!
Israel has, for decades, been engaged in the systematic eradication of the people of Palestine. They have been committing genocide. It’s clear their aim is the total destruction of Palestine. While more subtle than the holocaust, the ultimate aim is the same and far more likely to be successful.
I’m not American. Can someone explain this to me? Why would you register a party you are aligned with? I’m Ireland we use proportional representation so most people will be voting for multiple parties in order of how closely they align with your views.
