We’ll verify every state of the neural network on the blockchain, for reasons, all of them good ones. It’ll pay for itself by allowing people to invest and buy those unique states. :v

I use it for some things. It’s good for file batch processing, for example. I could probably do those things in python but I use C# and powershell at work so I know .net better.

Sometimes I struggle with impostor syndrome. Reading this made me feel a lot more confident that I am actually really good at my job and not just fooling everyone into thinking I am.

Hard to say without having used Arch. I just really like Portage. It does some really neat things.

It’s always preferable to have options, yeah. I so far haven’t found a need to use an xorg session, knock wood.

BTW wine vanilla and some custom proton builds are adding direct wayland support, just so you know. It’s still experimental but works great for some games, just in case you have others tying you to X.

Huh, interesting. I have seen the black window thing before but only with electron apps, and those can be told to use in-proc GPU to get around that issue. I assume that’s not the issue you had.

Couldn’t tell you, I don’t know what AL is. Dynamics is actually a bunch of different enterprise apps loosely lashed together with twine, so X++ might only be for Finance & Operations.

Fun fact, making extensions for this requires you to learn a new language called X++ that is based on .net framework 4.7. Development is done only on azure-hosted VMs that contain the application code and sql server and web host and visual studio with the special X++ build tools, all on one host that runs like shit at your expense.

And any platform that wants to allow adult content would have a viable means to secure funding. You can’t overstate how far the chilling effects of VISA et al’s anti-porn stance reaches.
