  • This week I’ve been playing a game called Peaceful Days, it’s an indie game on steam kind of resembling harvest moon, and Stardew Valley. I gave it a second shot because the dev said he’s reworked it, but it’s still plenty convoluted. The puzzles are obscure and unintuitive, so you have to live on the forums. I think I’ve officially given up on it today.

Rune factory 5 was fun, (if I remember right) and I’m currently on the store page wondering if I should spend ~$35 to get RF Guardians of Azuma. (Suggestions welcomed)

Last week I was playing winter burrows. A game that really didn’t deserve the controversy. It’s a darkly cute survival game about a mouse who moves back to his first home from the city after their parents pass. You have to collect food, materials, and stay warm through your traveling. It’s kind of like Don’t starve; but cuter and not as hard. I can’t recommend it enough, it runs like a dream. It’s a bit realistic, so don’t expect fairytale mice - you will have to bury some bodies you find in the cold.

  • That’s rough.

I do think that’s the rule of life though, to get something you have to part with something. I bet it would be really nice to be friends in real life with the people on that matrix, but right now at least that group needs anonymity more. It doesn’t always have to be that way, life is odd and there are no concrete outcomes. Though for now, I’m sure you appreciate having somewhere to go to be able to talk about things that maybe most people wouldn’t understand or lay judgement upon. I genuinely wish you and everyone on that matrix the absolute best.

  • This is stupid and it doesn’t make any sense. People should have a right to know if it’s inclusive? If other races are portrayed? If other sexual orientations are portrayed? The only people who mind are bigots, and they can just move on. What’s especially remarkable to me is that bigots aren’t satisfied with not partaking, they desperately and pathetically need others to share that view, because in their minds, then it isn’t wrong.

  • Hahaha that’s priceless. I thought they were just wrong and loud, but I also don’t really pay attention to stuff like that. I more so didn’t want to give money to actually awful people (EA’s soon to be owners) and that would be the only thing that would stop me from getting it.

I’ll let you know, but playing through the demo I feel like it’s going to be a really good game.
