Evil turtleman gonna evil.
Evil turtleman gonna evil.
Yes, the founders of the kingdom of Hungary came from the east… but we are not talking about Magyars 1500 years ago. Based on your post it seems you have some… stereotypical preconceptions about what modern day Hungarians look like.
Wait a minute… what do you think an avarage Hungarian looks like?
Im still convinced Vance was chosen primarily because it sounds similar enough to Pence when Trump forgets who his VP is.
There is some serious nerd rage around this show. A large group of terminally online people who cant get over the fact that this show exists. I remember when it was announced, the lotr subreddits collectively decided its going to suck, and any dissent was downvoted to oblivion. Then, when s1 came out, every new episode was immediately micro-analyzed and various aspects declared as bad (ranging from vague “bad writing” to “too woke” to straight up racism). Various mean spirited memes were popping up in otherwise meme-free subreddits, actors were personally attacked. It was pretty bad time to be Tolkien fan and liking the show, to say the least.
So yeah, the show gets disproportionate amount of hate for being based on the LotR. I am not saying it’s television masterpiece, but its 7/10 at worst, a fun adventure in Middle Earth with decent story and interesting characters you can root for.
I mean, imagine if s1 RoP ended the way HotD s2 did. Can you imagine the reaction?
Whats up with the downvotes?
You might be the first person Ive seen who liked HotD season 2 finale.
Me too, as long as it keep similar pace, Ill be happy.
Im curious, did you watch season 2 of HoTD? I had fun with with both RoP and HotD season 1, but the second season of the House was so mind numbingly boring we had trouble finishing it. Not to mention the underwhelming finale.
Abe Simpson was right all along.
Looks nice, is 2 in 1 set, but I am not a Zelda fan so its hard to justify purchasing it, for such a steep price even.
Its always the people you most medium suspect.
Thank you! I saw part of this movie years ago, and wasnt sure whether the memory was real or not
The Snow white cottage looks to be the same scale like Medieval Blacksmith. Might fit nicely next to each other.
This is something I noticed people have been saying, but I never had such problem. I think it might be because Ive had read a Czech translation, so it might have been more palatable than the original Tolkiens English, which can get rather verbose.
Then again, I like reading wiki articles about my favorite games’ lore, so it might be just me being massive nerd.
I am the same, honestly. I was never a horse person, but every time I see horses when driving to work across the countryside, I shout “horsies!” out loud, and my day gets a tiny bit better.
And Laos. And indirectly Bangladesh and Chile.
Better go stand in the line to spit on his grave now, it’s going to be a long one.
Judging by the story in the article, the doc would be hundred times more interesting than the nonexistent tv show anyway.
I remember reading about those weirdos way back. Wasnt the dude really active in My little pony subreddit?
