  • Anything that would cause real economic damage and put power back in the hands of workers will be treated as “illegal” regardless of what the books say. But what could they realistically do, arrest everyone in their homes who didn’t go to work that day?

Wildcat strikes are “illegal” in the sense that your employer is allowed to retaliate with firing you or docking pay if you do so. I highly doubt someone’s going to prison for not showing up at a regular job.

  • If anything, Windows 11 is the OS where things don’t work off of a fresh install (assuming it’s a self-built PC). It requires an internet connection during regular setup yet the ethernet/wifi drivers simply didn’t work. I had to cheat startup and install drivers through USB.

Bazzite on the other hand, worked instantly. The only thing needed was to set the right sound output.

  • 4.7 million sounds like a typo honestly. 47 million would make more sense considering that many people need their own PC to do freelance work.

I’m doubting that many people will suddenly see the benefits of PCs over phones and tablets in order for these numbers to blow up, but I could be wrong. It seems that mobile devices fill that need for most people and it’s been that way for a while. Given the tariffs though, it may be a comparatively better time to get a PC for gaming than an Xbox or PS and that could bring the numbers up.
